Trip to Bob and Evie's

Saturday we left for Cartridge to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Evie. We arrived at about 1:00. They haven't changed a bit. We ate lunch and had a great visit. Bob gave us a tour of his shop and showed us a Hoosier cabinet him and Evie are working on for Diana. David was really impressed with Bob's shop and how organised it was.

Rick and Diana came over to see us and it was so fun to catch up on what's been happening over the last few years. We made some plans for Rick to come to Bloomington to play golf with us. Then later that evening Ron and Marla, Diana and Mark came over for dinner. We all sat around the dinner table and had a great visit. We also made plans to golf with Rob and Ron. They all are golf crazy like us. Ron even has his own golf course on his property.....haha really he does.

Sunday David and I went to church with Bob and Evie. They belong to the Methodist church in Cartridge. What a beautiful building. Every window was stained glass. After church we went with Bob and Evie to brunch with another couple from church and Rob and Jen. They go there every Sunday after church with a group of friends from church. The food was so yummy.

We said our good-by's and left for home. We went back to Bloomington the scenic route so we could stop at a few antique stores. It is so fun driving the country roads. The towns are so quaint and fun. We like to stop and get ice cream sometimes too!!

One of the antique shops had tons of vintage linen. Of course I bought some.....it's hard not to pick up on some of the bargains. We also found some more pewter to match what we already have.
